This is all simply a passion to reignite my love for these simple games, I feel like with the coming death of Facebook I'm reminded of how I miss all the old games I used to play. Is there any facebook dev groups/playfish contacts around to chat about this? Was there any legal pushback? (I read there was sort of an attempt but legal push back happened, however I believe if I were to host a non-profit server it could still be perfectly legal). Has this been attempted before? What were known problems? From my own experience it seems possible but the problem I'm having is the EXTREME lack of online information for this game, like seriously any google search, forum search it's completely dead so I'm wondering for anyone who lurks or knows people from the old facebook days to answer some questions of mine. It's pretty simple to "setup" a server however I don't know the limitations of it (how much I can edit within the game itself) so I'll probably need to test more. So I got this game working on a private host using Palemoon browser for adobe flash and all the usual things of sometimes saves not working and slight bugs but honestly as a dev it's very possible to bring this game into a semi working state on public servers by further developing the mongoose host into a public host on linux boot which I use to support server hosting which all takes trial and error but I have confidence it could work meaning it can be "online" and you can visit friends and possible integration of seasonal events.
